Injuries and illnesses come in all shapes and sizes–

So our plan covers a broad spectrum. Ansel pays benefits for 13,000+ covered conditions. How much is up to you.

Payouts are selected during enrollment and members can claim a benefit if they’re diagnosed with a covered condition. All Moderate conditions get the Moderate benefit payout. Severe and Catastrophic conditions get more.

We cover the common conditions that could put a dent in your savings.

With 13,000 covered conditions, the list of what Ansel covers is too long to show you here.

Frequently asked questions

How does Ansel work with our health insurance plan?

Ansel complements and enhances your primary health benefits by giving employees an extra source of support when medical bills suddenly pile up due to a health issue. Ansel does not coordinate with any other insurance. Our plan pays cash benefits based on your diagnosis, and benefit amounts can be customized to help offset health insurance cost-sharing.

How do employees sign up?

Employers have several enrollment options. Use Ansel's decision support and enrollment tool or bring us into your benefits enrollment platform. If you prefer, we can also take a paper enrollment form.

Can you integrate with my benefits administration platform?

Ansel integrates with most major benefits administration platforms. Get in touch and someone from our team can share more details.

Do you cover pre-existing conditions?

We do! With Ansel there are no limitations or exclusions due to pre-existing conditions. Plus, Ansel is offered on a guaranteed issue basis—no medical underwriting is required.

What are the premiums like?

Ansel offers affordable premiums that vary based on age, benefit amounts, and who’s covered. Premiums for individuals under 50 start as low as the monthly price of your favorite TV streaming subscription. Employers can cover some or all of the premiums or offer Ansel on a voluntary basis for employees who want to enhance their primary health coverage with extra financial support.

In which states is Ansel available?

Ansel is currently available for employer groups based in AL, AR, AZ, CA DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NE, OH, OR, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, and WV, and a growing number of states as we expand nationally. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you.
